168 Free Bicycles Given to Hillary Clinton Nursing School Girls by Vinod Gupta Charitable Foundation

OMAHA, NE – 11-21-2018 (PRDistribution.com) — The Vinod Gupta Charitable Foundation recently gave the girls of village Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, bicycles. The presentation of the bikes took place on November 14, 2018, during ‘Children’s Day, Bicycle Distribution for Girls-A Step for Empowering the Girl Child’ at the Ramrati Education Complex (REC). The event brought in a distinguished delegation of guests including: Shri C.P. Tripathi (Commissioner Saharanpur), Shri Alok Kumar Pandey (District Magistrate), Mr Sandeep Choudhary (Air Commodore-Air Force Station Sarsawa), Ms Sangeeta (SDM Rampurmaniharan), and Retired General MMR Narang AVSM. 

Shri C.P. Tripathi inaugurated the program which included a lamp lightening and the actual distribution of the bicycles. The gifting of the bicycles falls under the Girl Child Education and Women Empowerment initiative of the Vinod Gupta Charitable Foundation (VGCF). This initiative aims to empower women and girls of marginalized groups through sustainable initiatives in the field of education, so as to enable them to be economically and socially secure. The Hillary Clinton Women’s Center was started in December 2011 and works with the sole objective to empower rural women through training and awareness programs. The center holds regular training and skill development programs on a variety of subjects, like handicraft, fashion designing, computer skills, cooking, etc. to build self-dependence.
