Previously, Ms. Coffelt served as a registered nurse for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford with Stanford Children's Health, CHOC Children's, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and the University of Virginia.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Coffelt pursued an education in Brazil, receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology. She continued her academic efforts at Charity Hospital, earning registration as a nurse in 1995. Following this accomplishment, she completed coursework at the University of Colorado. Ms. Coffelt concluded her studies at Benedictine University in 2016, graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing.
In addition to her primary trade, Ms. Coffelt remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. Beyond her formal training, she has been recognized as a specialist in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Ms. Coffelt has also maintained membership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
Attributing her success to those who have supported her throughout the years, primarily her children, Ms. Coffelt was inspired to enter her field by her inherent desire to help people.
