ATLANTA, Ga., February 6, 2018 – Ambadas “AJ” Joshi, Partner & Co-Founder, Joshi & Patel, LLC, has joined The Expert Network©, an invitation-only service for distinguished professionals. Mr. Joshi has been chosen as a Distinguished Lawyerâ„¢ based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout his career.

Mr. Joshi outshines others in his field due to his extensive educational background, and numerous awards and recognitions, and career longevity. He earned his political science degree from Emory University and continued on to the university’s School of Law. Mr. Joshi him selection to Lawyers of Distinction, an exclusive membership awarded to only the top 10% of attorneys in the nation.

With more than 20 years dedicated to law, Mr. Joshi brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and, in particular, to his area of specialization, plaintiff’s personal injury law. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in law, Mr. Joshi said:

More and more, lobbyists are trying to make it so that victims of injury cannot fight for their rights in court through tort reforms, caps on damages, and limiting the causative action against government entities and other special interest groups. Through participating in legal groups such as the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and supporting political candidates that emphasize increased access to the courts, I am doing my part in educating consumers, lawyers, and politicians about the dangers associated with restricting court access.

Partner & Co-Founder, Joshi & Patel, LLC

“I have always had a love for debating and looking at different sides of issues, analyzing them and critiquing them. When I got to law school, that was my favorite part of my education—the critical analysis and thinking.”

After obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1997, he began working as an insurance defense attorney, representing large corporations like State Farm, Progressive, and Liberty Mutual. In 2008, he switched sides, co-founding Joshi & Patel, LLC, where he has since recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of injured clients.

As a thought-leader in his field, Mr. Joshi maintains active memberships in his local legal organizations, including the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. In the realm of personal injury law, he commented on a nationwide push to limit the availability of civil justice to injured claimants:

“More and more, lobbyists are trying to make it so that victims of injury cannot fight for their rights in court through tort reforms, caps on damages, and limiting the causative action against government entities and other special interest groups. Through participating in legal groups such as the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and supporting political candidates that emphasize increased access to the courts, I am doing my part in educating consumers, lawyers, and politicians about the dangers associated with restricting court access.”
