ALTON, IL – 09-13-2018 (PRDistribution.com) — Cope Plastics, Inc., Alton, IL proudly announces the ISO 9001:2015 certification of its production facilities located in Alton, IL and Hiawatha, IA. The certification, which came into effect June 2018, was issued after Cope Plastics, Inc. met the standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The company had previously earned certification under ISO 9001:2008 in 2015 and has maintained an ISO registration since 1999.

ISO 9001:2015 is the most up-to-date standard of its kind and focuses on robust quality management systems (QMS). Organizations apply the standard to demonstrate their ability to provide products and services consistently to meet customer and regulatory requirements. ISO 9001:2015 expects a focus on risk-based thinking and accountability in all organizational processes.
