Her impressive repertoire of prior roles has included: United States Air Force Noncommissioned Officer for over 13 years, which includes being the Enlisted Military Assistant to former Defense Secretary, Dr. Ash Carter, and former Deputy Defense Secretaries Mr. Robert Work, and Ms. Christine Fox. She was the Associate Professor for the School of Security and Global Studies at American Military University, Lead Contributor for In Homeland Security News, Columnist for the PA Times Magazine, and Director of Veteran’s Affairs for the Lisa Project Leadership Training Center. In 2014, Monique founded The Chouraeshkenazi Group (formerly known as MD Educational Consulting Firm), a consulting firm based in the Greater Washington DC area. The firm’s focus is centralized on the advanced analysis of security pedagogy, intelligence, R&D, and policymaking for homeland/national security and terrorism matters. Dr. Chouraeshkenazi earned a PhD in Public Policy and Administration with a specialization in Terrorism, Mediation, and Peace from Walden University. She also earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Boston University, Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology from American Military University.
