An exciting new Bushwick pop-up gallery announces a month-long, four-story exhibition

House of Words, the home to a permanent text-art exhibition announces a month-long, four-story exhibition  at the  brand new, four-story text-art building at 30 Belvidere Street. According to Ariel De Lion “House of word is an ode to the story — the story each of us holds and the one we are writing together.”

In the inaugural exhibition, 24 artists imbue the space’s seven galleries and rooftop with a sense of play and exploration, as well as ethological reciprocity and an emerging architecture of the human spirit. The interactive, multisensory show — which brings together writers, painters, sculptors, musicians, and installation artists — introduces Ariel’s research into IntentionMagnetism, through the eyes of curator Jennifer Tone, highlighting sexuality and creativity within boudoir photography, love and healing through abstract expressionist painting, communication through interactive spaces, and higher states of consciousness. The show is inspired by Tesla’s research on magnetism and the energy of seven chakras, and it tells a story of the interconnectedness between East and West through Kabbalah and Buddhism, mediated by Neo-Science expansions.

The residential building has an architectural and decorative aesthetic that harmoniously blends Bushwick’s factory style with Manhattan’s industrial swank. ‘Unfinished’ floors create an art-studio vibe that is inspiringly juxtaposed with polished apartment amenities. The building is encrypted with treasure map–style hints that connect the House of Words to 10 other Bushwick community locations and three World Wonders, infusing intention into every element of the space.
