Kenmode announced the appointment of Thomas Skibinski as its new Vice President of Operations. Mr. Skibinski brings more than 20 years of experience in precision metal stamping, serving the automotive, electronics, insert molding, and medical industries. Most recently, he was Vice President of Operations at a metal stamping firm where he had full profit-and-loss accountability for the entire organization. Earlier, Mr. Skibinski worked for Aurora Metals Division, a contract foundry and machine shop with extensive casting and machining capabilities. He began his career there as an estimator and was promoted through multiple positions during his 12-year tenure, ultimately finishing as manager of manufacturing.
At Kenmode, Mr. Skibinski provides strategic direction and management for all functions within Operations, including manufacturing processes, production capacities, warehousing efficiencies, on-time deliveries, and the implementation of new production technologies. He replaces Ken Wojcik, who retired after eight years in that post with a total of 12 years at Kenmode.
“Kenmode will benefit from Tom’s ability to make continuous improvement a reality and to increase production efficiencies while enabling business expansion,” said Kurt Moders, president of Kenmode. “He brings an exceptionally strong track record of business and operational leadership to this key position at Kenmode, as well as direct experience with the industries we serve.”
“Kenmode is a well-diversified, high-volume operation, with a reputation for quality and a history of introducing innovation into precision metal stamping,” said Tom Skibinski. “I look forward to applying my experience with advanced stamping operations to help Kenmode continue its growth.”
