Los Angeles, CA, April 30, 2018 — In 2017 the lights went out on the statue of liberty the night before International Women Day march. (Fact)

On June 3, 2018 a new musical, “New York in Chains,” opens in the Hollywood Fringe Festival of plays based on the idea that the Statue of Liberty comes alive and leaves her island. The play, written by Don Lewis and Leonid Andronov, features six amazing performers, Lauren Nikohl, Mary Rachel Gardner, Kylie Grogan, Benito Borjas, Thomas Hollow and Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe.

Trying to overcome the threat from a secret evil danger the show entertains the whole family with uplifting new songs of liberty, charity, hope and humor. Dances help bring history to the stage.
