Los Angeles, CA, May 19, 2018 — Summer is almost here, and with the new season comes new additions to Ooak Kitchen’s innovative plant-based menu. Showcasing over 10 brand new dishes that feature fresh and rare ingredients, Ooak Kitchen, is set to please new and returning guests with a fresh lunch menu featuring dim sum favorites available from 11-3pm (M-F) and 12pm-6pm (Sat & Sun) along with new savory meat alternatives, with no added MSG or artificial meats.

What’s more, Ooak’s refreshing new menu has lowered their prices on several select dishes due to changing costs and availability of ingredients. Taking advantage of the seasonal changes, Ooak aims to introduce healthy and sustainable ethnic Chinese dishes to their customers at a reasonable price- including vegan and vegetarian dim sum (with prices ranging from $3-8). The contemporary plant-based Chinese restaurant is excited to share vegan/vegetarian alternatives to classic favorites like char shui bao (BBQ pork steam buns), shui mai (pork and shrimp dumpling), har gao (shrimp dumpling), xiao long bao (soup dumpling), and egg yolk custard buns. Toppled with new dim sum dishes, Ooak Kitchen is bringing more meat alternatives to their menu like their succulent Black Pepper “Hamburger Steak” ($16). Following their plant-based cuisine, Ooak Kitchen creates innovative meat alternatives by including fresh vegetables, lotus roots, and various rare herbs and ingredients (usually imported from East Asia). The new summer menu takes guests on a culinary adventure with incredible fusion dishes inspired by Western and Eastern influences.

Elegant and relaxed, this plant-based Chinese eatery, is the place to experience both fine dining aesthetics and wholesome cuisine. The new summer menu unveils the exceptional range of authentic, plant-based Cantonese fusion cuisine that only Ooak Kitchen has to offer. Combining culinary influences from East Asia and the Western Hemisphere, plus utilizing the season’s finest ingredients, the highlight of this menu is not only their authentic ethnic cuisine, but also their commitment to sustainability and a plant-based diet.
