ROME, ITALY, February 06, 2018 — Ruggero Lenci has been included in each volume of Marquis Who's Who since the 27th edition was published in 2010. With 40 years of professional experience in architecture, Dr. Lenci has been the principal of Ruggero Lenci Architects since 1987. In addition, he has worked with Sapienza University of Rome's School of Engineering as a professor of architectural design since 1998, serving as a board member with the school's PhD program since 2000. He also holds several patents, one of which is for parking sensors, and he has been a painter and artist for nearly 20 years.
Dr. Lenci began his career as a student at Sapienza University of Rome, obtaining an honorary laurea in 1978. In 1980, he obtained an honorary Master in architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and in 1990 earned a PhD from Sapienza University of Rome. In 1992 he received a postdoctoral grant in architecture from Sapienza University of Rome.
A respected voice in the field, Dr. Lenci has written a number of books and articles throughout his career. He is the author of, among others, the books “Pietro Barucci Architetto,” “Didactics and Architecture: Theses in Architectural Design”, “Studio Passarelli: One Hundred Years, One Hundred Projects” and “Evolution and Architecture”. His contributions have earned him numerous awards and accolades, including numerous first prizes in architectural competitions and an Art In Light Award from the La Sapienza Foundation. Dr. Lenci gains fulfillment not only from teaching and practicing architecture, but also from painting and sculpturing, receiving increasing interest from art critics.
