SEATTLE April 26, 2018

Women in Wireless today unveiled mBolden, its new brand identity inspired by the word “embolden,” whose definition is “to instill with boldness or courage; to fill with courage or strength of purpose; to encourage.” The organization aims to connect, inspire and embolden more than 10,000 women in digital around the world. The announcement coincides with the Seattle Women in Tech Regatta event today featuring a mBolden panel and happy hour event. More information can be found at their new website: wearembolden.org. mBolden worked with New York-based experience design agency Studio Analogous on the rebrand.

As the industry has evolved, the new name presents a more updated and relevant global brand presence and identity, enabling mBolden to work in harmony to further its purpose of being a champion for women in digital. The organization’s new tagline is “mBolden: Champions of Women in Digital.”

“We took this opportunity to rethink not just our name, but our entire brand. We’re excited to introduce our new mBolden brand as it more accurately represents who we are as an organization and our inclusive mission to be champions of women in digital,” said Farzana Nasser, co-president at mBolden. “We’re committed to raise the visibility of our members around the world and to embolden our partners to champion diversity and inclusion. We are proud that our new brand identity will better illustrate how far our organization has come and the impact we can have in the future.”

mBolden delivers value by raising the visibility and voices of women leaders at every level, through corporate partners and supportive local communities that effectively leverage a global network of knowledge, access, influence and recognition. mBolden measures their success through member, partner, and industry advocacy and their ability to champion the equality of women in the industry and enable the professional and personal growth of women at every stage of their career.

“Every company is now a digital company,” added mBolden co-president Sheryl Tullis. “We recognized the need to help brands with resources and networks to attract, develop and retain diverse talent. We partner with global brands on innovative ways to visibly support the growth of women in their companies, helping showcase their work and accelerate their progress. Our new tagline ‘Champions of Women in Digital’ signifies the commitment of everyone at mBolden to this mission.”
