People are looking for hope
KINGSMAN, Kan. April 28, 2018
Scripture says that those who don't have God have no hope.
Within the pages of CHAOS AND REDEMPTION ($16.99, paperback, 9781545629116; $6.99, e-book, 9781545629123), readers will discover that the world has both order and chaos in every feature and experience, but only one source of true hope.
“People are looking for hope,” John Alec Schmitt says. “They are looking in the wrong place and trusting their lives in the wrong persons. The love of almighty God is the only path to true hope through redemption and salvation.”
The book provides the answer to the chaos that surrounds us.
“Chaos denies order and meaning to anyone who has not found a hope beyond the inevitable decay,” the author states. “Redemption is that focus where our particular lens of hope is able to bring light to darkness.”
A native of Wichita, Kansas, John Alec Schmitt received a bachelor of science degree in general studies from Wichita State University and a master's degree in divinity with honors at St. Paul School of Theology in Leawood, Kansas. He was a pastor from 1976 to 2011.
